This week I received a pair of Bose SoundSport earbuds. They are much
like most earbuds, except they have the Bose StayHere tips that really
keep the buds in place. They do sound pretty good. The base is good,
although the middle and highs could be a little flat. I am no
audiophile, though. They have one button on one bud for power. On the
connecting cable, there is the Apple style controls. They come with
the regular size tips in place. Changing to the small size really made
a difference in sound and comfort. They are $150. I bought them with
the idea I could try them until the Apple EarPods were released and
then decide which I would prefer. I guess that is out. These are
probably keepers, though I would really have to like the Apple buds to
be comfortable with them being separate. It seems like an invitation
to lose one. I have heard them described as much like the current
EarPods. Those I do not like, particularly for their material. They
never feel as though they will stay in my ear.

there was nothing at the time. I for one really look forward to these
and I’m a bit disappointed because I was hoping they would hit the
shelves in the next few days while I am still in Calgary and near an
Apple Store. Of course I for once applaud Apple on deciding to delay
the launch if there are still issues to be resolved, better this way
than to release the product half baked so to speak. Probably even
more disappointing for people who bought the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and
who are really looking forward t6o an excellent bluetooth
earpiece/headset.

When Apple debuted its AirPods in September, the company said the
wireless earbuds would launch in late October. Now that it's late
October, people have been wondering if a release is imminent, but as
it turns out, the AirPods are delayed.
Apple today told /TechCrunch/ that it needs "a little more time"
before the AirPods are ready for a public release, without specifying
the reason behind the delay.

believe in shipping a product before it's ready, and we need a
little more time before AirPods are ready for our customers," an
Apple spokesperson said to TechCrunch.
Apple did not provide /TechCrunch/ with updated launch information,
so it is no longer clear when the AirPods will be available for
purchase.
AirPods are Apple's premium headphone solution for the iPhone 7

which do not include a headphone jack. AirPods, powered by Bluetooth
and an Apple-designed W1 chip, are entirely wireless with no cords
between them.
