I have found that my new Iphone 7 often ignores a headset connected to it whether it be the lightning buds that shipped with it or the aftershokz bone-conduction set connected via the adaptor. It usually comes back just by itself or by re-connecting it. Last time however, it did not and I had to connect the charger to the phone and then re-connect the headset or buds. Has anyone else experienced this?
