>From what I read, apple was the first to sell out of preorders. The carriers sites didn't run out of preorders as fast. Now I hear though for new orders, your looking at 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Amazing how fast these things sell out. This was my first time involved with a preorder for an iPhone. Previously, I got my 3gs and 4 after all that order rush was over. It took me at least three-four tries to get into the final order screen and for my order to go through.
