Hi Rajmund,
It's been discussed before and it's similar to how you can delete a
downloaded iOS update, here are the steps:
Go to Settings > General > Storage and iCloud Usage
First you have the "Storage" heading which refers to local storage and then
the "iCloud" heading. After it tells you used space and free space and just
before you come to iCloud there is a "Manage Storage" button, double tap on
it. There is an identical button under the iCloud heading, make sure you tap
on the first one under "Storage" meaning local storage.
On the next screen you again have used space and free space at the top,
after that all your apps start.
Double tap on any app you want to delete, it opens up a page with details
about the app, it's version size and the size of the data it uses and after
that is a "Delete App" button.
It's useful if you want to find out how much space is taken up by an app and
its data and you can also see, for example, how much space is taken up by
Voice Mails, but this list does not include most of the stock apps such as
Notes, Calculator, Stocks, Watch, Voice Memos etc. I rarely go there since
it's so much easier to delete apps either the old way with a double tap and
hold and another double tap after editing mode has started or to use the
"Arrange Apps" option to get into editing mode, then swipe up and double tap
on "Activate". As I said, if you want to delete things like Stocks, Watch
and so on then that is the only way anyways and what Todd said I identified
as a bug is not a functional bug but simply a small issue of something that
could be labelled better.
Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Guys,
How does one actually delete through the settings method, please? I never
got that to work, I just can't see the delete button at all, anywhere.

Hi Todd,
I think at this point most of us are losing you. You say Apple should have
had the feature a long time ago where apps can be deleted. If you are
talking about native apps then yes, you are probably right, but it has
always been possible to delete apps you install yourself and now as of iOS
10 you can also delete many of the native apps. As Richard explained very
clearly this is also possible using a braille display with no speech
whatsoever, sounds like the only thing one has to do on the phone itself
is press the home button when you are all done to get out of the editing
mode. I really don't see what Apple can do to make it easier than it is
now and Rich actually described another way to delete apps via Settings..

Sieghard

To all,
Now, look at what Pablo said?
Rich, you failed this time. I told you millions of times Apple should
have had that feature long ago where apps can be deleted! That company is
really screwed up anyway! Go with them or not!

Yes, you can place apps that you don't use in a place that you know.
However some people like me, I don't like some apps that are built on my
phone> now with this IOs, I am able to remove from my phone some apps that
came built in my phone. Example: stocks app, or the iWatch app, or other
apps that I just don't use. I deleted them, and now I have more space on
my home screen, more space in folders.

I am not sure which screen you are all talking about, but for my "Home"
screen holding all of my apps, I simply rearranged the order of
thingsquite extensively, placing things I don't use at the end of the list
and those things I do use more often on the first page which saves me a
great deal of time. I don't feel I need to really delete anything as I
have enough space in memory for those things I wish to do. Though I don't
use certain things offered, I figure someone somewhere does. So I just put
them out of my way and carry on.
