Our hearing impairments do require different voices. I find the male Alex voice for ALL phone functions to be much more understandable than the default voices. I have bigger issues with the high frequencies so that makes sense. When different ranges are effected different voices are more helpful. Thank Goodness there are so many choices. I'm also grateful that Linda from Albany and others spoke of the Com Pilot. That isn't bad either!!

And wow what a change! I'm able to clearly understand what the iPhone is saying! So now I have to stay, on my 5S, Tom English US, and Juan Mexican Spanish Compact voices. So I just wonder am I the only one who had these frustrations with the High-Quality iOS10 voices? With the earpods they worked great, but when having the phone normally at a distance without earpods, is when the fristrations started, but as I said before, with the Compact voices, a different world entirely!
