Sign out of ICloud, deactivate Find my iPhone and Restore to default,
wiping away the whole phone. Good luck!

to go find the messages. My GF is giving her old iPhone 5s away to a
friend. So I'm wondering what all we need to do to prepare it to start
fresh for her friend. I know you sign out of iMessage, face time and
iCloud prior to resetting the phone. Is this all we need to do before
we reset it or is there anything else left to do?
