Hello everyone,
Well, so far I am not impressed with Directtv Now.
The page is up, and ready to go. You can create an account, and
you do
get a 7 day trial,.
However, if the site is any indecation as to how accessible the
app is
for the Apple tv, we may be in for some difficult times.
I have waited for this to happen for a while now. I've been
excited
about it. I even checked a little after midnight, to see if the
site was
ready. LOL!
I can't seem to get signed up. I can put my email address in,
create a
password, but that's as far as I seem to get.
Supposedly there is a capcha, but it never opens. Also, I
believe you
are supposed to agree to their terms, and such. But there is no
checkbox
to be able to do this.
Also, when there was an area that showed stuff possibly playing
currently, it was out of order, and diidn't match up with the
stations
the shows should have been playing on.
I tried using Firefox. But according to the site, my version of
Firefox
is not up to date. I'm not sure what version of Firefox I am
currently
using, but I thought it was up to date.
Also, I tried to chat live, but it never seemed to connect to
anyone. So
maybe this feature isn't available. Maybe currently there is
nobody to
chat with. I just don't know.
I tried to find a number to tech support. But whenever I call a
number,
it wants an account number. I can't get past this.
Also, I have looked for the app in the app store. I have tried
entering
different things. But I have come up with nothing.
If anyone has a better experience, and manages to get signed up,
please
let us know.
If I figure it out, I will let you all know.
