What would be even better, at leat for those having trouble, is if it would send crash reports to the developers. I’ve not had any of those issues on a iPhone 5S, 6, 6S or iPod Touch 6th gen. But for those having these issues, some way for it to send crash reports could help them identify what is going on.

If you do not want or need all that in one app, then Prizmo, TextGrabber or even now iDentifi can do a very good job for a lot less money. In my opinion, the biggest draw back with KNFB Reader as compared to computer scanning programs is that it does not retain formatting for paragraphs.
