I have tried the TWC iPhone app on my iPhone 6+, and I can watch
channels live, but I haven't found a way yet to turn audio description
on and off. I wouldn't count on the accessibility office to know the
answer right away, though they are willing to research things.
We also said "no" to the laptop option. By talking with two different
members of the escalation team and asking the same question more than
once, we were able to get one of the techs to program the remotes for
our set top box to toggle SAP on and off with one button press instead
of the 8-key sequence required. Had the company embraced accessibility
before the CVAA went into effect, they would already know this stuff
instead of having to figure it out as they go.
