As of this writing, I have had them for about 52 hours. I recommend them, with
a couple caveats. They are not going to be returned.

I was in an Apple store for an unrelated reason, and got to listen to a pair of
them, and knew almost immediately that I liked them. They sound like the wired
earpods that came with my iPhone 6, but with slightly more bass. They also seem
to fit into my ears more securely, I even can use them while laying on my side,
and the bottom one stays in that ear. There is very little, if any delay, when
interacting with the touch screen. I am using apple braille screen input to
write this message, while wearing the airPods, with no problem. For whatever
reason, on my IPhone 6 when using the touch screen keyboard, when I lift my
finger, it repeats the letter at a louder volume than it said it the first
time, which is an annoyance more than a problem.

The caveat: I don't know how delicate these things really are, but I will bet
they wouldn't take much abuse at all before they would go bad. Also, being that
they are virtually the size of the wired earpods without the wire attached,
unless one is really careful, they will be so easy to drop at the wrong time. I
have not checked for it yet, but allegedly, Amazon already is selling some kind
of strap that will go behind my neck and will connect them together. If so, I
definitely will buy it. I wonder why Apple doesn't offer this option? If I have
to replace one of my airPods through Apple because I lose it, it starts
rattling because I played it too loud, whatever, it costs 69 dollars.

But I do like them, they are not going back.
