My office sets up the Personal HotSpot through our carrier.
Then, you can give it a password or use the one it offers, which reads fine
with VoiceOver.
It then uses your phone as a wifi hotspot.
That is a very secure way to use your computer when at a hotel, restaurant, etc.
You have to have that set up through your carrier. I do not know what the
charge is for that.

Subject: using vpn on phone and computer

Hello,
I am in a situation where I need to use public wifi. If anyone has used vpn
for protection I would like to know what you used and how well it worked. I
would appreciate help.
