Likewise, I also find reading large mp3’s is mucheasier with voice dream reader. I use itunes file sharing to transfer very large collections of old time radio shows to my ipad. Threse range from 2 to 4gb zip files.

You can also flick up and down in the area measuring the time and go to different locations in the file. The only thing I can't do which I wish I could is place a bookmark in an area that I might want to go back to for information. In that case, I just look at the time location and make a note of it and then I know exactly where to move to if I need to find it. A little inconvenient, but not too bad.
