First, Tiles were not developed for the blind, it just happens that the concept
could be useful. Could be.
I was gifted a Tile a couple years ago. I could not set up the account on my
own.
Once set up, the app worked OK, but the tile sound was so soft, you had to be
within a few feet to hear it.
Over priced gadget for those who have money to burn.

OK, so I got all excited after hearing about this new cool app along with its
devices for the blind.
So my single Tile Slim arrived yesterday from Amazon. Boy Howdy, I was ready to
rock with this thing!
I download the app, and try to set up an account and all that.

1. The app is crap and a half! Now I ain’t no rocket science, nor do I
play one on TV. But I ain’t no dummy either.

2. Their website also blows big time! You can’t even find a phone number
or email address for customer service
Or Tech Support. But there is a non accessible Support Chat Box. Hallelujah!
So I’d bet this bomb A** website looks and functions great for all those
sightlings! Hog wash!
All I wanted to do is give Tile the benefit of the doubt; and contact them so
they could walk me through everything over the phone or through email. But
alas, that ain’t gonna happen!
Well another blind Ponzi scheme got my money again.
But I’ll keep on pursuing an accessible way to communicate with their Tech
Support, and if I can’t simply do that; I’ll blast and flame them on every
blind list serve I belong to.

BTW: I’ve heard through the blind grapevine that just about all of these
locator little devices, suck as far as their accessibility is concerned.

OK I promise to get off my rant now, but can anyone tell me if they’ve
succeeded in setting up their Tile account and all that; all by their blind
selves?
I really want this thing to work, seamlessly.
