Hi David,

Thanks for the recommendation. While not QOO, it’s not too far off.
Interesting, my QOO app is still functioning normally, but I have set to speak
the time every 15 minutes between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday, so the 12 hour limitation has never been a real issue. . The Voiceover
Clock app is very simple to configure and has the desirable ability to speak
the time interval instead of only providing a chime. And while it is true that
there is a limit to the number of time intervals per day, despite choosing 15
minute intervals, this is not a particular issue for the individual to whom
this app is being recommended.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Mauricio

Hi,

I can definitely attest to your observation that Qoo is no longer available
in the app store. I tried it a few years ago but found I had to restart the app
as it stopped speaking after 12 hours. I had mine announcing the time every 15
minutes.

I am now using Voiceover Clock, which is a free download. It’s very easy to
use and set up.

  Hope this helps.

David

Hi All,

I have been a very happy user of the QOO app. With this app I am able to
schedule a chime every hour, at the top and bottom of the hour, or every
quarter hour. I can also schedule the chime for certain days of the week as
well as specific hours of the day. Perhaps my favorite feature of the app is
that rather than having a chime, it can be made to speak the time at the
intervals specified.

Okay, so here is the problem: I have recommended this app to another individual
and it was no longer available. Both I and the individual to whom this app was
recommended are using iPhones 6s with the most recent version of the iOS. What
I would like to ask is if anyone can search for the QOO app to see if they have
success, and if not, what similar apps are others on this list using. The
feature to speak rather than chime is especially appealing.

Thanks,

Mauricio
