Sandy, That sounds like a good tip about making the onscreen keyboard visible before turning off the bt keyboard. I will have to research whether there is a key or key comblo for the amazon basics keyboard that does the same thing.
Btw the problem seems to have magically fixed itself at least for now. Though I would like to find a more reliable solution than depending on the magic fairy dust resolution. Lol!
