Pictures, music files and documents open in Dropbox or OneDrive just the same, on iOS they open right from the cloud unless you specified that a copy should live on your phone. I can open apps like Mail, Word, Skype etc. and access any file I have in Dropbox or OneDrive. Apple share extensions are available for all of these services. Anyhow, I don’t want to get into an argument that Dropbox or OneDrive are better, I just don’t think they are worse. Yes, Dropbox messed up a while ago when the app crashed with Voiceover, but it got fixed and looking back how long did it take? Maybe 10 days or two weeks? Still not too bad I think. Anyways, OneDrive for me is primarily my choice simply because I have Office 365 and 1 Tb of storage is included in my plan.
