I let the over-the-air update begin and it got to the 96% mark. I let it stay there for about 30 minutes before I stopped the update. When I started again, it was at 75% and counted up from there. It reached 96% again and sat for quite some time, but I noticed it now said installation was in progress. About 30 minutes since then, there has been nothing; no speech, no sounds, cannot activate speech with the triple home click, cannot turn the phone off or on; dead.
I began just after 1:00 PM Eastern. I think I am dead until someone can eye it in a few hours. Damn! Never had a problem updating before, although there have not been so many opportunities.
