I figured as much on a day like today, it was a joke because nobody would
want to hold the width of a 20-cell display up to their ears, which I
invision to be about half the width of my Focus 40 Blue I use mostly for
work.

Considering how many resources Facebook and other companies spend
each year trying to eliminate fake news, I am constantly amazed at
the number of people who are amused by these obviously fake and not
amusing stories. If someone posted a fake story about a blind
friendly device on May 22^nd or a new Cumulative update on March
fourteenth and then at the end of the message they said. Hey only
kidding. Everyone would be angry. Not the least bit amused.

In the most recent Today in iOS Podcast which I listened to this
morning at around the 32 minute mark, Rob mentioned that
apparently reliable sources from Mac Rumours and 9to5Mac said
Apple is working on a special iPhone for the blind with a 20-cell
braille display. This may be available as early as this fall, the
braille cells would take up part of the screen, but of course
there still would be a smaller area which accepts the familiar
touch gestures as well and it will be priced similarly to the
rumoured iPhone 8 at just over $1,000 US. Below is a direct link
to the Podcast, if you subscribe to Today in iOS you can quickly
skip ahead and start listening at around 32 minutes into the
Podcast. I am not much of a braille user myself, but I know many
on this list use braille all the time and this would probably be
a big hit for braille users. Here now the link, if you listen by
