It seemed slow in the demos I’ve heard but we were actually thinking the same thing as you. We’re probably going to buy one if or when it is released and try it. Aph has a 30-day return policy which should give us plenty of time. We’ve seen nothing else that is worth the $2000 or more we’d spend for something else. Most of the offerings on the lower end are 14 or 16 cells which don’t seem enough braille real estate for us.

I've heard reviews that say it doesn't make that much difference. I have not had my hands on one yet, so I can't say one way or the other.
