Hey Guys, I have a bit of a mess on my hands. I didn’t intend it, but I accidentally imported my entire music collection into iTunes. On the one hand, it is convenient in that, to transfer music to my iPad Mini, I just go through the list of albums and check off the items I want to transfer. Unfortunately, in the process of going through that long list, I’ve discovered that some of the albums are tagged incorrectly. And, as a consequence, the library is a mess. For example, for a Various Artists collection, if there’s nothing in the Album Artist tag, then iTunes lists the album under each individual artist that’s on the album. Which means that I can’t transfer the entire album, as an album, to my iPad as I would like to be able to do, but rather have to transfer each track separately, which I don’t want to do. So, if I retag these improperly tagged albums correctly, do I just add them to the iTunes library manually? Since they’re already imported, will it remove the other files, or do I have to do that manually? If I have to remove the wrongly tagged stuff manually, I don’t see any way of doing that at the moment, so I’d be grateful for any help with that. Thanks for any advice on this. Whatever the case, it looks like I’m in for quite a bit of work as it appears that a good many of these need fixing. Evan
