I'd suggest you clear out the app switcher, reboot the phone, update to 10.3.1, and see if that helps. Some odd VO and phone behavior was fixed with that update, like saying incoming call when you were placing an outgoing call. Or, call Apple and see what they say. Richard

I can't restart the phone or perform any functions until I plug it in. The battery level is always at 59% or higher, so it doesn't seem to be a battery issue. If there is a voice mail when someone has tried to call me back after the disconnect, VO comes back, provided I have plugged the phone in, but when I listen to the message, VO volume drops down to a level where I can not hear it very well, almost to zero. The volume percentage doesn't drop, just the level. If a message comes in or I disconnect from the voice mail, it comes back. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem might be or where I can go in the phone to check a setting or two. I am using a 5C with the update to 10, not this very last one, but the one right before it. Thanks. Vicki -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
