I have had sporadic issues with speech and Siri since going on IOS 10 and it
can be very annoying. Either it freezes up and I can hear the click sounds
but no speech after using siri and the only solution has been to do a
re-boot on the phone. At other times, after a siri session the phone will
not return to the home screen by pushing the home button and you have to say
"goodbye" to get back. I have also found that the notification sounds are
hit or miss. They will work one time and not the next?
I have tried doing a factory re-set of the phone but still have the same
issues. I did however restore from a backup so perhaps do another re-set and
set it up as a new device and start from scratch which is a long hard takes.
But if it would fix the problems, it might be worth the trouble.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

times when things are not working right and when I clear the app switcher,

Also, have you tried powering off your phone and waiting about 30 seconds
and powering back up?

Lately I have noticed that Siri will say I can't help you or I don't
understand as soon as I press the home button.
Wondering if others are having this issue and what the problem may be?
It is quite annoying.
Have checked my Internet connection both 4G and Wi-fi and they seem to
be working.
