Or, a combination of Blind Square with Google Maps is almost as good as Nearby Explorer. I don't know about the latitude/longitude option with any of the apps since I do not use it. I contacted the dev to see if they would offer some sort of a discount as I already purchased their app once, however was told I would need to pay for the app. On Android, I found it quite good as I could choose what I wanted to be announced, and I could choose whether to use onboard or online maps. It had features that no other app used. I am considering purchasing the app on iOS, however I am interested in others' experiences with navigation apps. I am looking for an app which will announce intersections accurately as I approach them, as well as points of interest. It would be good if it offered turn-by-turn navigation, although I would mostly use Google Maps for that. Getting heading is good. Rarely, lat/long is good as well, as I do enjoy getting out to geocache from time to time. So, any thoughts? It's fine if it is more than one app... Will BlindSquare meet my needs? Should I consider the Seeing Eye GPS? Any other apps that I should have on my list?
