Yes, that happens with VO.
But the game has a self voicing function. If you turn VO off this will make
the game speak everything. The delay doesn't seem to be as bad if you use
the game's speech.

I have the same problem as well. I will tap on an item, and it doesn't
always do what I tell it to. This is most common when I am going from one of
the building areas back to the main screen with all the areas including the
city on it. Our use voiceover, I don't know how accessible the built-in game
voice is.

I've tried it both ways and I do like how all aspects speak and are
completely accessible. But there's no way to control the speed or volume
of the voice and it really is loud compared to other audio, so I usually
just use Voiceover and put up with some of the quirks.

I like the game, I do have problems getting it to click on the items I
want By the way, the princess gift to you does respond immediately. If she
was up a little bit at a time, but you can tell mostly on your logs and
some of the other things that start her low.

Good day. I've gotten the game Crafting Kingdom this weekend and can see
why it is addicting. A question about the princess. When you get her gift
of a slight increase in sales, does that take effect immediately during
the game, or does it start the next time you reset the game? I have found
it hard to believe that there's no in-app purchases in this game. That is
very rare with games in general, and blindness games in particular. If
I'm playing a game that I'm invested in, like this one, then I don't mind
doing in-app purchases. I would encourage others to leave similar
comments in reviews for the app. Perhaps in-app purchases could be used
to retain all of the gold that you've collected during the game between
resets. That would really help so that you didn't have to start all over
again.
