Hi Mary, They have a lot of voices available for purchase, and you can use any iOS voice that you've downloaded, so you have plenty of choice. I had no trouble playing a Bookshare book. I think it's a great option for people who can't afford Voice Dream Reader and want access to libraries. It's not as good with a braille display as Voice Dream Reader because it shows each sentence separately, rather than showing longer blocks of text. It also doesn't let you import books or play straight MP3 files. It also doesn't work with the headphone controls, so you can't use your headphones to back up a few seconds and such. It's a great first version, though, and it should be helpful to a lot of people.
