good morning Richard, thanks for your efforts! indeed, I also trawled through Google and various websites for Galileo, and, I suppose, this is a sort of answer to my question, to wit, can iPhones use the Galileo satellites? presumably we can, or they wouldn't be maps for iOS. however, they are onboard maps, so, it's still not quite clear. what surprises me is this: apparently, there is a system out there which offers us infinitely greater precision, but nobody seems to be using it, looking at it, celebrating it, or in any way relating to it. it feels unreal to me! I am not aware of apps, such as BlindSquare, mentioning it. obviously, a little more research is required…
