Shannon, I am having a similar problem. I have the iPhone 6. I realize that it is getting older but I do not get the proper battery status. Turning it off and on doesn't even help. my battery can be at 50%, I plug it in and it jumps up to 80% immediately. I never know my exact status. hope someone can help us.
