Hello List, I am thinking about purchasing the new magic keyboard with number pad. This keyboard is bluetooth and also uses a usb connector. I’m curious if the following is possible. If I purchase this keyboard and camera adaptor for iPhone, will the keyboard work with my iPhone 6S Plus both as a wired keyboard and I know it will work with bluetooth. I spoke with an apple engineer about this and he said that it might work, but he wasn’t sure. Has anyone ever done this? You might ask why I want to do this. For example, I want to restore my iPhone. When first starting up after removing all data, the only source is the screen input. I have another lightning keyboard that I don’t like, but in a pinch it works. So the need for the lightning adapter is to use this keyboard wired direct for the first few screens in setting up the phone. So, again, if anyone has done this, I’d really be interested to know how well it works or doesn’t work. BTW I will also be using this magic keyboard on my MBP as well. My extremely old full sized mac keyboard is kind of dyeing. Thanks in advance for any info.
