I use Outlook 2007 on my PC and iCloud to sync my calendar and contacts with my iPhone. I suddenly lost access to my iCloud calendar on the PC. When I tried to open the calendar or any other iCloud folder on the PC, I received the following error: The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service C:\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\Apple\INTERN~1\APLZOD.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured. A Google search included the following page: https://www.msoutlook.info/question/icloud-and-outlook-2007-support Microsoft introduced the problem in the June security update. The solution involves adding a new entry in the Windows registry. If you encounter this problem, read the web page sited above and follow the instructions. Download the zip file and unzip (extract) the files into a new folder. Double click or press "Enter" on the file called AllowUnregisteredMapiServices.reg You have to press "Enter" a couple of times to accept messages asking is it ok to modify the Windows Registry.
