I don’t know if T-mobile will pay off your phone. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. The best way to find out what T-mobile will or will not do is to call them. As far as T-mobile’s coverage. I, after some big time hesitation, and asking questions of other people who were actually using T-mobile, I made the switch from AT&t last February. I have had no real significant issues with the services. I have traveled to many places since making the switch. I am happy to say that so far, so good. I live in Philadelphia, PA. If you have some locations in mind where you may frequent, ask the T-mobile rep if they have coverage. Also, remember, T-mobile does have WiFi calling. Take care.
