Tom Before you give up on Downcast I had a problem with it recently of it crashing a lot. I contacted the developer and he said that I probably had too many items downloaded in my feeds and he was right as I had literally hundreds. I did a clear-out and now it’s fine and dandy. Also running the betas will make it unstable too (along with a lot of other apps in my experience).
I love Downcast so much that I’d even recommend deleting it altogether and reinstalling if it would sort it out rather than moving to something else.
