/Definitely GSM, CDMA is not around much any more except for a few carriers in the States and I think maybe Japan. Here in Canada Telus and Bell, two of the three large carriers, were all CDMA back in the 90's and early 2000's, but now it's all GSM. I think pretty much most of the rest of the world is GSM including Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia/New Zealand.
