On occasion Apple may have said something about accessibility, but keep in mind that this is a hardware event and adccessibility is much more a function of iOS, after all, so far every single iPhone from the 3GS on could be used by visually impaired and blind users, where things were sometimes better and sometimes not so much is when a new version of iOS is released and this will be no different this time. I have beta tested iOS for many years and this year chose not to partly because I had very little time to fool around and also because I only have one main iOS device, my iPhone 6S Plus and I was travelling so much this summer that I needed that phone to be reliable. If I owned an older iPhone or iPad I might have beta tested iOS 11, but I'm still on one of the beta lists and what I read there wasn't very encouraging and in fact I think this year will be the first time I won't update to iOS 11 as soon as it comes out because of some of the bugs which still persist. I highly recommend people to take a few days before updating especially those who get upset when something doesn't work exactly as it should, Applevis and here on Viphone you will be able to hear about the issues which still exist inside a day or two after iOS comes out next Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever it is. Do yourself a favour and wait a few days, first of all the actual update experience will be so much better than if you do it along millions of other people and secondly you might just save yourself some frustration and I think this applies especially to braille users.
