Hello folks, When I listened to the apple keynote, I did not quite understand the advantages of wireless charging. My understanding is that one needs to place the phone on a wireless charging pad or stand for it to charge. This is not remotely wireless charging. That means that we have to worry about more gadgets to carry when we travel. In addition to the adapter and the wire, we will need to also carry a pad or a stand for the wireless charging to work. I understood that if many public places provide wireless charging we would not have to worry about carrying our charging accessories. However, I am not sure I would like to place my phone on a charging pad in a restaurant or café, or in an airport terminal. Unless the wireless charging pad is on my table or on the arm of my chair, I would not use it. Can someone who is more familiar with this idea and process explain it better to me? Cheers, Cris
