hi chris,

thank you. I hope in 3 years the face id and other features will be standard and cheeper. When I upgrade I usualy try to get the best and biggest since it'll likely have to last me for years but, the 1 k price on the X moddle is kindof steep and I figure that's the 64 gig moddle the 257 is probly more expensive. but, I have 2 more years for them to make it more standard and I hope cheeper. Though who knows in 3 years what storage limits reach or what inovations apple will come up with. ----- Original Message ----- From: "christopher hallsworth" <challswor...@icloud.com>

Hello, Apple is the only company to provide hardware support for at least five years. From the information provided, you should be ok with the 6+ for at least three years including this one, in which iOS 11 will be definitely supported on the 6+.

hi,

I've since the september 12 event been thinking about upgrading to atleast an 8+ but, my main reason is because I have a 6+ and wonder it'll support ios 11 but, how many beyond that. I seem to recall people mentioning on this list that there are generaly a number of upgrades any phone will take in ios before they're not supported. Upgrading phones is an expensive venture. and I wonder how much longer my 6+ will continue to support the ios versions. Does anyone recall?

Thanks for any help,
Billy Maynard
