Hello All, I understand that the forum meeting expressed a vote of no confidence in me as chair.
This is an unlawful act and I do not accept these bullies and their dark activities. Remember the constitution you passed? It clearly states that I should be given an opportunity to defend myself. I don’t even know what the allegations made against me are or who proposed them. Furthermore such a meeting requires special notices that contain details of the reasons for the meeting. Which have not took place. Secretary, you need to give 14 days notice. Containing the reasons for the extraordinary meeting. Having established the facts. You people have just bullied and kept me in the dark. and not given me any chance to defend myself. Here’s the ratified and signed parts of the constitution that are relevant.. Termination of membership. The right is reserved to terminate the membership of any member acting in a manner likely to bring the organisation into disrepute, or be detrimental to the aims and objectives. The member concerned will be given every opportunity to present their case, accompanied by a friend, if necessary. The final decision will be taken by ordinary members in a general meeting. Meetings Meetings will be held on a regular basis throughout the year. The quorum for the meetings will be 5 voting members. Special General Meetings Any 3 members can call an extraordinary meeting for special purposes, by writing to the secretary. Resolutions can be passed, if signed by all the members, without the necessity for calling a general meeting. This constitution may be amended at a Special General or Annual General Meeting, provided that members are given 14 days notice, with the exception of the Aims and Objectives and the Dissolution clauses.
