Why not subscribe to Apple Music, depending on the price of the albums for what it costs to buy these albums you can already pay for Apple Music for a couple of months. For $14.99 you can have the family subscription which means both you you can use it, have their own preferences, likes, recommendations and so on. As long as you keep up the subscription you can stream or download as much of the 40 Million songs iTunes has, well, I guess when it comes to downloading you'd fill up even a 256 Gb iPhone after maybe 40,000 songs.
