Thanks, Mary. I’m hoping to get access to the usual AD, but I can glean most of the info in the film from the narration, except for the interviews in Vietnamese. The AD would be nice for other things, too, such as naming who is talking, etc. Keith

But on the regular PBS, I have also never heard audio description when there was simply something that was caption because it was in a foreign language. I know PBS has some programs with audio description, but have never seen it on foreign language interviews etc. I think you would want to turn on captioning for that, that is regular close captioning. So if VoiceOver becomes able to read subtitles or close captions for the deaf, then the thing you want might become available.
