Hi, I have just created an appointment with my Logitech keyboard and using the up and down arrows was able to set both the time and date. Probably irrelevant but I am using an Iphone5/s.

I don't use a keyboard with my calendar, but I assume you use the arrows to scroll through dates? I've seen a couple posts that say there are problems with the function of arrow keys on Bluetooth keyboards. Perhaps try using the touch screen to change dates in the calendar?
