Yes it's turned on by default and can't be turned off. If you go to
settings and emergency S-O-S you can turn auto dial on and off. By
default auto dial is off which means that after pressing the power
button five times you would have to confirm that calling emergency
services is your intention. If auto dial is on it will call emergency
services in three seconds after pressing the power button five times.
