This is one of the cases where it is probably not a bad idea to wait for the next generation of LTE Apple Watch just as it was also a good decision to wait for the second generation of the non-LTE version of Apple Watch which is faster and completely waterproof. I would have kicked myself had I bought an Apple Watch as soon as it was first released only to find out a year later a waterproof version is available. An Apple Watch is one of these luxury items one doesn't really need and for me at least it is an item I don't plan to buy every 2 or even 3 years so probably better to let them work out the bugs first.
