I'm with you, Sieghard; I don't know how this works. Personally, the last thing I want is to have my notifications read, outloud, automatically.
Currently, on my primary iOS 10.33 6 S Plus, I am notified that I have a notification but in order to hear the text of the notification, on the lock screen, I must actually touch the display.
