I have no battery issues on my 6S Plus and that’s older than the 7./7Plus.

From what I've read, it sounds like the newest iPHONEs don't experience the drain but iPADS and older iPHONEs burn through batteries substantially faster than if they used iOS10. There are some things you can do to reduce battery drain. Turning off background app refresh for apps which you don't need constantly updating can help. Same with location services. However, doing these things obviously reduces the effectiveness of your equipment. Same with turning off Bluetooth or Wifi or cellular data when not needed. One suggestion was to turn on low power mode. Personally, I simply carry an external battery with me and top up as needed. Hope that helps.
