Hello, Marie. Instructions for importing and exporting into and out of Dropbox are included in MiniKeePass's "Help" menu under the article name of "Dropbox Import/Export" and are quite easy to follow. I can't imagine a scenario in which you would lose or compromise your database file in your Dropbox directory by attempting to import it to the MiniKeePass app on your iPhone.
