Instructions for importing and exporting into and out of Dropbox are
included in MiniKeePass's "Help" menu under the article name of
"Dropbox Import/Export" and are quite easy to follow. I can't imagine
a scenario in which you would lose or compromise your database file in
your Dropbox directory by attempting to import it to the MiniKeePass
app on your iPhone.

Hello List,
I don't think many on this list use MiniKeepass to track their passwords
but
I wanted to caution those who do about a change with its latest version
1.7.
Older versions contained a search box at the top after logging into your
password database file that allowed filtering of your passwords based on a
search keyword. This search box is no longer there in version 1.7. I have
hundreds of entries in my password database so this omission makes the app
almost unusable to me.
Fortunately, I'm still running iOS 10.3.3 and iTunes 12.6.x so I was able
to
uninstall MiniKeepass from my iPhone 7 and use iTunes to install my backed
up older version 1.6.3. As you know, this option is no longer available
for
those who upgraded to iTunes 12.7 as required by iOS 11.
I personally will proceed cautiously with future app upgrades especially
for
those that are doing what I need in their current iteration. I strongly
recommend that others do the same since going back is no longer possible
in
iOS 11.
