Hi David, Have you tried to touch an item in the status bar like the time and then do a double tap? Do you use it to find apps on your phone? Why not use handwriting, it is much faster and works great.

To get to spotlight search you touch any app or folder on any of your home screens and do a 3-finger swipe down. Somebody else needs to check this for David, I have already moved on to the iOS 11.1 Public Beta and can’t confirm David’s finding. I guess this tells you something *smile*. In fact, I can recommend the iOS 11.1 public beta to anybody who is half way tech savvy and knows how to install it, I have for the most part only found it to contain improvements when it comes to Voiceover. I won’t explain how you get it since I don’t want anybody to yell at me because they installed it and ran into problems. It is not difficult and the information on how to do it is easily found if you Google “How to install iOS public beta”. I assume if you can’t find the instructions on Google you definitely should not attempt to install it.
