I just did a test using both scene beta and short text. I tried it with the brightness set to 0, then 100 as well as then turning on the screen curtain. I got pretty much the same results in all cases. I tried to keep my hand in the same position, but it is impossible to be absolutely exact which I think accounted for some slight variation. The screen brightness should not effect any camera based app since you are not doing anything to cover the camera. HTH, Richard
