Hello Sieghard, all is well, problem solved, everyone is happy, now! After I wrote the message, I had a serious brain storm, and came up with the same solution, common sense thoughts.
So, now my friend’s iPhone auto answer works, now! I suspect you set the timer past the time the system activates the message system. I'd suggest setting the timer for a lower value.
