List, Does the new IPhone 8 or 8 plus also have this battery drain problem? I have a IPhone 5S running IOS 11.1 and poor battery life has become more of a problem. I am planning to buy either the 8 or 8 plus, but to have my eyes wide open as they say, in understanding battery issues with IOS 11.1. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and experiences. John

Go in to settings, choose general and choose accessibility. Choose display accomadations and turn off the auto brightness setting if it's enabled, then make sure your brightness is at 0 percent.
