Sandra, maybe you could have your phone, for christmas dinner this year,
instead of Turkey, it sounds quite nutritious!
Don't forget, to wrap it in baking foil, to keep in the juices, for making
the gravy. lol.
Dave.

Sieghard,
I use my phone a lot in the kitchen, whilst cooking. like you, I consider
it to be tough enough to with stand some sticky patches. I have even been
known to leave the odd grain of rice or P adhering to the surface as useful
markers! sort of cheap form of speed dots. however, as my iPhone 6 is
misbehaving a little, since the latest couple of updates, I might try
washing the screen… VOs focus isn’t always good and this may be the answer!
happy cooking with your iPhone, Sandy

Not to that extend since I clean my screen on a regular bases.
Occasionally when I was working in my woodworking shop or was cooking and
I touched the phone with dirty fingers I might notice some weird behaviour
when tapping and swiping, but this always disappears when I wipe down the
screen. I'm not very concerned what I use, it's glass after all and tough
glass at that and it takes a lot to scratch it. Usually I just use the
dish cloth or a damp towel, turn the phone so the screen is facing down
which means if there is a bit of moisture it won't run into the cut at the
top of the screen where the earpiece is or get in around the home button
and then I just rub it down, then I use a dry part of the towel and dry it
off.
If you have a screen protector that can of course also be the problem.
Regards,
Sieghard

Clean your screen with a damp cloth, it should not be dripping wet,
but damp or you can use a micro fibre cloth and the liquid you gret
when you buy a kit for cleaning screens.
Also, just turn your phone and back on and see if that helps, but I
bet it's a dirty screen.

Hey guys
OK, i've had this happen before, and it seems to have no explaination.
I can not hit anything on the right side of my screen on my iphone 7.
I have to depress the screen very very hard, and i don't wanna damage
anything. This has happened before. Like if i go to the very right
of my phone and press the icons, voiceover says nothing. When this
has happened before i'll let the phone for several hours and it fixes
itself. Any ideas?
